Domain name is a unique identification name for your website globally. Actually the domain name is a number ( IP address), it is named to remember easily. Under one domain name it is able to create sub domain also.

Domain Registration
Domain Registration can be done through Domain Registrars or their representatives. You need to provide necessary contact details to register the domain and the registrant email ID should be owners. Once the domain is registered, the details of teh domains can be get from 'Whois Sites'.

The domain should renew ever year, and it can be renew up to a period of 10 years.
